Northwest-based Japanese travel agency Azumano International has an opening for an International Educational Programs Operator. This position will be full time starting on May 20, 2013.
Job description: Educational program’s planning, estimation, negotiation, operation, financial management at the office in Seattle downtown
We are seeking a bilingual English / Japanese individual to work with high school and college students. The IEP Coordinator will plan and execute cultural exchange programs from start to finish, including working with travel agencies in Japan, local Seattle-area high schools, and vendors throughout Washington State.
Qualified candidates must:
- Be fluent in English and Japanese, both written and verbal communication (native English speakers must have JLPT N1).
- Understand cultural (US and Japan) business conduct and ethics.
- Be able to stay organized and on top of multiple projects in a fast-paced working environment.
- Possess the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of internal and external contacts.
- Be familiar with Seattle area and have a valid driver’s license and a good driving record.
- Demonstrate a working knowledge of the full suite of Microsoft office products (Word, Exel, PowerPoint).
