Job Summary:
Provide translation and interpretation of Japanese to English, and vice versa, to various departments.
Essential Functions:
1. Document translation of drawings related to machinery.
2.Interpretation for business between Japanese visitors/Expatriates and local associates regarding machine build.
3.Support in creation of presentation materials including data, graphs, and drawings.
Additional Responsibilities:
1.Assist in other translation matters on as directed by chain of command.
2.Assistance for interpretation via phone as needed.
Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities:
1.Fluent Japanese and English verbal and written communication skills.
2.Computer skills in Microsoft Office in both Japanese and English.
Physical Requirements:
This job requires frequent sitting, standing and walking.
Training And Experience:
•High School Graduate or GED.
•2-3 years translation and interpreter experience

Internal contacts may include associates at all levels from various departments, such as Production, Supplier and Customer Quality Engineering, Production Engineering, Maintenance, etc. External contacts may include DNJP associates and vendors.
