Overview:

Network & Communications Specialist for Development & Support
Seeking candidate to set the strategic direction and provide support for network technologies and services to meet the manufacturing, engineering, and administrative needs of a major Japanese company.

Primary responsibilities include:
-Craft proposals to support strategic direction and build consensus
-Build technology roadmaps
-Facilitate meetings and communication
-Work with project managers and technical resources to develop and execute project work
-Identify required resources, including budgets
-Collaborate with vendors
-Develop and acquire solutions to resolve complex network issues

Other responsibilities include:
-Work with other local support teams to troubleshoot issues that levels 1-3 could not resolve
-Manage 5-10 vendors in support of various network products and services to complete scheduled projects
-Prepare Statements of Work, Requests for Information / Proposals, and Bill of Materials for projects up to $5M

Qualified candidates will have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science related discipline and also have Cisco Certified Network Associate classification or equivalent IS experience.  They have at least 3 years LAN management & associated network products experience. He/she possess proficiency in technical trouble shooting and problems solving skills. This candidate has turnkey project management experience including the capability to initiate, lead, manage, and report out status of project with 5 or more team members either internal or external, that design and implement network solutions.

Additional desired experiences include: experience with a Japanese company, familiarity with Kaizen, TPS, and other process concepts. Will work within a team, so the ability to communicate and work well with others is essential. Japanese language skills are also desirable but not required.

In this setting you will provide various types of support to our Project Managers in Japanese/American manufacturing facilities in a multitude of automotive environments.

Primary responsibilities include:

-Debugging

-Parts quality confirmation

-Cycle time reduction activities

Seeking candidate for robot teaching and other technical support (bodyweld equipment procurement, new equipment install, etc.) for major Japanese automotive manufacturer’s engineering/new equipment/maintenance divisions.

Primary responsibilities include:
