The client, a leading software development company, is looking for a senior software developer with mobile phone games development experience.
The mobile game developer position is for a talented, responsible and self-reliant developer. The candidate will understand all aspects of mobile game development, as well as possess the depth of skill required to bring a successful title from inception through to launch and code maintenance.
Mandatory Requirements:
(a) Prior experience in developing commercially released and widely used mobile multi-player, client server games
(b) At least 2 years experience with DoJa (version 3.5 and above)
(c) Practical experience with Eclipse IDE and EclipseME plug-in utilizing DoJA SDK
(d) Expert in mobile UI design
(e) Very good communications skills in English (oral and writing)
Advantageous:
– Prior experience in developing games for mobile phones in Japan (major advantage)
– Knowledge of Japanese language
– Mobile network performance analysis
– Porting of DoJa to J2ME and/or Brew
– Experience with developing of and/or integrating with cellular-based electronic payment methods (particularly in Japan)
* DoJa is a purely Japanese development environment and if necessary a person with at least 5 years of core J2ME development experience would be considered as well.
