A Japanese Manufacturing company located in New York is currently looking for a fully remote, full-time Japanese-English Bilingual Account Manager to join their team.

As an account manager, you would maintain and increase sales of the company’s residential/commercial decorative material products in the United States and other emerging markets in the Americas through building relationships and superior customer service.

Your main responsibilities for this position would be:

  1. Perform all facets of sales activities including customer service of existing accounts, sales presentations, sample development, order solicitation, production scheduling, and after sale follow up.
  2. Communicate extensively with customers’ Purchasing, Quality Control, R&D, Design, and Logistics people as well as the Japanese headquarters sales office to provide effective products/services. Coordinates the entire process from pre-production, production, through to delivery of the products.
  1. Develop sales strategies to market products. Maintains existing customers by quality assurance and their satisfaction and develops relationships with new customers.
  2. Research industry design trends to lead the development of saleable new designs/colors.
  3. Research new industries, prepare reports and identify potential clients.
  4. Travels a) to see existing and potential customers and promote products, b) to attend trade shows to establish new contacts and market our products.
  5. Writes sales reports, customer correspondence, and related business correspondence.
  6. Prepares quotations, contracts, and follows up with customers.
  7. Handle other tasks as needed.

Please consider the following qualifications when applying for this position:

  1. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  2. 5~10 years of OEM or B2B sales & marketing experience
  3. Proven ability to develop sales and marketing strategies aggressively and efficiently.
  4. Self-motivated, self-starter with strong communication and organizational skills.
  5. Traveling and driving is required. (No need to have your own car.)
  6. Basic knowledge of computer systems and applications
