Job Summary:
The Website Content Manager is responsible for planning, designing, creating, enhancing, and maintaining all agency web sites. The primary agency web site (www.seniorservices.org) is built on the DotNetNuke CMS platform. The position is responsible for managing the DotNetNuke system and for researching, purchasing, and documenting new modules. The position will be expected to guide different levels of staff in the planning of web pages and then implementing those pages independently, obtaining or creating all graphics required, assisting in the creation and processing of video, and building the web pages within DotNetNuke. The Website Content Manager is responsible for training staff in the use of DotNetNuke modules to allow other departments to manage their web sites and pages. The position is responsible for gathering and reporting web stats and for search engine optimization. The Website Content Manager is responsible for managing, enhancing, and promoting the agency Intranet – also on the DotNetNuke platform.****

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Primary webmaster for all agency web sites
  • manage, enhance, and document DotNetNuke, the agency’s primary content management system
  • actively manage the content development for the agency homepage
  • work with staff to plan, design, and implement new web pages using DotNetNuke
  • work to continuously improve and enhance the organization’s web presence
  • assist management in the planning of overall company strategy regarding web development
  • provide DotNetNuke training to staff and continually update DotNetNuke training materials
  • manage the agency Intranet and strive to make it a more important asset for the agency
  • optimize all agency web sites for major Internet search engines
  • manage monthly web stats for all web sites and provide web stats analysis when necessary
  • assist with planning, filming, and editing video and graphics projects for agency web sites
  • manage all online donation, registration, and payment web pages
  • research and stay up-to-date on current and emerging web technologies
  • other duties/projects as necessary and or assigned.

Minimum qualifications (Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions):

1. BA/BS. Four years of highly related experience may be substituted for the degree.
2. 4 years experience managing content and production for high traffic websites.
3. Advanced knowledge of (X)HTML and CSS.
4. Strong graphic design skills using Adobe Photoshop or equivalent.
5. Ability to write and document procedures clearly and effectively.
6. Ability to work and solve problems independently.
7. Experience with DotNetNuke or equivalent Content Management System.
8. Experience with video production, editing, and YouTube or equivalent video sharing tools.
9. Proficiency with Google Analytics or equivalent web stats tools.
10. Proficiency with Google Webmaster tools.
11. Ability to build consensus and work effectively within a cross-department team.
12. Ability to provide small or large group training sessions.
13. Experience with all of the Microsoft Office tools: Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook.
14. Must have valid Washington State Drivers’ License.
