About the Role
We are actively seeking a Branch Director to provide the leadership, drive, and coordination that the branch needs to become a high-performing unit that achieves its profit and growth targets; to connect the branch to the global ITG vision and mission; and to make a positive impact on its people and community. You’ll be part of a fun, friendly team of employees, all of whom share a passion for our destinations, a belief in our brands, and a strong collective sense of values and purpose. Role Duties:
As a Branch Director, you will play a key leadership role in helping ITG deliver at a local level and continuously make a positive impact on our commercial and sustainability goals. Your insight into the local market will help unearth the incremental gains that can make the difference in hitting targets, as well as identifying the market risks and opportunities that will make the difference between good and great performance over the longer term.
Specifically, you will:
- Inspire, coach, mentor, and develop team members while delivering and innovating on branch-specific vision, values, and culture.
- Serve as the local face of ITG in your market and develop/sustain strong relationships with local and national business groups, trade associations, government agencies, and charity partners.
- Nurture external relationships with the bank, insurers, lawyers, and other professional organizations.
- Collaborate with the CFO and Board of Directors on a regular basis to set, implement, and evaluate sales, KPI, profit, operations, budgeting, forecasting, targets, performance management functions, and other goals.
- Champion global messaging and visions at the local level and across your team.
- Serve as the voice of the branch in our Function Heads & Integrators (FH&I) team and actively share your local branch opportunities and challenges and related strategies/best practices.
- Manage an active and concurrent pipeline of projects and revolving strategic projects spanning operations management, HR/Recruiting, team engagement/culture, and other functions.
- Promote the branch as a vital and valuable hub for interaction, collaboration, and engagement as the business transitions into a largely hybrid working era.
- Represent the branch at significant local and national events to raise its profile and influence amongst key stakeholder groups.
- Manage and administer relevant company benefits, including health insurance, pensions, and other related items.
- Maintain an active pulse of emerging industry and related trends and best practices for use in continuous improvement activities within the branch and with the broader ITG space.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Demonstrated senior leadership experience in a small or medium-sized business, including a proven record of inspiring, motivating, coaching, and mentoring teams.
- Exceptional communication skills and a track record of communicating complex messages to a wide variety of people.
- Strong commercial acumen, business skills, networking skills, and an entrepreneurial mindset.
- A competitive desire to hit and exceed sales, profit, and performance targets.
- Keen emotional intelligence skills with an ability to empathize with a variety of personality types and mentor even in challenging circumstances.
- It’s a bonus for us if you bring previous senior management or leadership experience in a travel business or have an MBA or similar degree.
