J-Screen K.K. assists companies mitigate financial, legal, and criminal risks through the design and implementation of formalized, ethical and comprehensive individual and organizational screening programs. J-Screen reports focus on publicly available information and public records relating to companies and individuals.
This position is responsible for conducting research for J-Screen K.K and its clients:
- Conduct comprehensive Japanese language internet based research into companies and individuals. The research focuses on publicly available information sourced from public records, public and private databases, Japanese media court records, credit reports and others.
- Preperation and drafting of English language reports summarizing the information obtained during the research process.
- Contacting and responding to client queries regarding reports.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or above.
- Native English speaker and strong Japanese language skills sufficient to conduct public record and media research in Japanese.
- Ideally 3 years working experience in Japan in a research or editor position or with a keen interest in Japanese business.
- Experience in report writing.
- Excellent information-gathering, analytical (quantitate and qualitative) and problem solving skills leading to high-quality deliverables (reports/analysis, assessment and business implication)
- Excellent communication (written and verbal) skills.
- Strong attention to detail
- Mature, self-motivated and strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently.
Benefits
- Starting salary of between JPY270,000 to JPY300,000 per month depending on ability.
