Responsibilities
- Promote U.S.-Japan relations through outreach in 10-state jurisdiction
- Administrative duties for General and Political Affairs
- Event planning and coordination
- Monitor political issues in 10-state jurisdiction
- Speechwriting
- General office responsibilities, including Japan-related inquiries and correspondence
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- Strong writing and editing skills
- Demonstrated attention to detail
- Japanese and English language ability required
- Demonstrated analytical and communication skills
- Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office, Outlook, etc.)
- Experience living in Japan or working in a Japanese environment strongly preferred
