Position: Part-time Marketing Coordinator

Contract: Part-Time; 10 hours per week (hybrid)

JET Alums: Stay connected with Japanese language and culture while gaining exposure to other languages and cultures!

Small Cambridge, MA non-profit seeks part-time marketing coordinator who is passionate about languages and cultural exchange.  

Promotion of Language Clubs, Overseas Internship Programs, and Homestay Programs

  • Promote programs and special events online and via community outreach.
  • Help recruit volunteers, interns, and host families.
  • Create marketing materials as needed. 
  • Track and report on effectiveness of marketing initiatives.

Required Qualifications 

  • A minimum of three years marketing or outreach experience with a non-profit organization.
  • Cross-cultural experience and interest in languages.
  • Valid driver’s license and access to a car.
  • COVID vaccine status: “fully vaccinated” and “up to date” according to CDC definitions, including for remote candidates.  Candidates will be required to show proof of vaccination upon commencing employment. 

Salary and Benefits

  • $18-25 per hour, commensurate with experience.
  • Language club membership and audio materials.
