Funded and partially funded programs are available for yearlong and semester programs.
Our current yearlong programs are in American Samoa, Chile, China, Colombia, Costa Rica, Ecuador, Guyana, Marshall Islands, Micronesia (Pohnpei, Kosrae and Chuuk), Namibia, Tanzania, and Thailand. Hiring for an entry-level Campus Outreach and Communications Coordinator at the Associated Colleges of the Midwest (ACM), a consortium of 14 independent liberal arts colleges based in Chicago, IL. The primary focus of the position is to support off-campus study outreach efforts by managing related marketing and communications projects. The position is also responsible for data reporting and overseeing a small recruitment territory.
The ACM Campus Outreach and Communications Coordinator is a full-time position based in Chicago, IL. Moderate travel is required during particular months, when considerable time will be spent visiting college campuses, with work hours that will include early mornings, evenings, and some weekends. This position reports to the Associate Vice President for Strategic Outreach and Communications, and works closely with other outreach coordinators, as well as other consortial staff.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Communications:
Manages marketing and communications efforts for off-campus study programs.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree;
1-2 years professional or internship experience in communications, marketing, or a related field;
Relevant experience in higher education, such as participation in a college off-campus study program or work in admission/international education;
Excellent writing and editing skills;
Strong presentation and public speaking skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with a variety of audiences;
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially MS Excel and Word;
Strong organizational skills and extreme attention to detail;
Excellent project management skills;
The ability to be a collaborative team player and also to work independently with self-direction;
The ability to multitask, be flexible, and quickly respond to change;
