The Council on International Educational Exchange (CIEE) Tokyo Study Center, located on Sophia University (上智大学) Campus, is searching for a Local Japanese Language Instructor to teach a college course running from 5/18 to 6/26, 2017, using materials from the textbook “Genki II.” Previous experience with the Genki textbook is not necessarily required, but the Local Instructor must be confident in his/her ability to adapt to the materials. This course is for a short-term study abroad program for a US university and will be led by a language instructor from that university. The Local Instructor will work under the supervision and guidance of the US University Instructor to achieve the learning outcomes set by the US University. The Local Instructor will need to meet at times with the University Instructor outside of class for course planning purposes.
