Job Description
The position will entail establishing new business, maintaining existing sales and increasing our market share by working closely with a network of distributors. Conduct periodic sales meetings and technical training seminars for distributors and end-users. Also, provide support to troubleshoot end-user application problems and identify new prospects and opportunities.
Job duties include:
- Service existing accounts, obtains orders, and establishes new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedule to call on existing and potential sales outlets and other trade factors.
- Adjusts content of sales presentations by studying the type of sales outlet or trade factor.
- Submit orders by referring to price lists and product literature.
- Keep management informed by submitting activity and sales reports and annual territory analyses.
- Monitor competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, delivery schedules and merchandising techniques.
- Resolve customer complaints by investigating problems, developing solutions, preparing reports and making recommendations to management.
- Contribute to a team effort by accomplished related results as needed.
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending education workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks and participating in professional organizations.
Requirements:
- The ideal candidate will reside in or be willing to relocate to Cincinnati, OH. Your territory is the Ohio area. Additional relocation will be required.
- Must be fluent in both English and Japanese
- B.S. in Engineering preferred. College degree required.
- Excellent written, verbal, negotiation and presentation skills required
- Willingness to travel
- The ability to pass a motor vehicle report, background check, drug screen, physical exam, and I – 9 verification
- Must know how to use a computer or be willing to learn
