Marketing Intern
Japanese Language Fluency Required!
Mindjet, the leader in information visualization and maker of the award-winning MindManager mapping software, is looking for a marketing intern that is fluent in both spoken and written Japanese, creative, energetic and results-oriented. The primary role of this position is to help develop integrated marketing strategies and positioning and deliver compelling web site and email marketing content to drive the continual growth of the Japanese market. This position reports to the Vice President of Asia Pacific. The position is based along the Embarcadero waterfront in Levi’s Plaza in San Francisco, CA.*****
Key Responsibilities
* Help manage and execute channel and direct email campaigns,including customer list segmentation, database queries and creative development
* Develop and manage translation of email, newsletter and website copy
* Assist with eCommerce activities, including online store set-up
* Support sales activities in Japan
* Track ROI and analytics of Japan marketing activities
* Overall understanding of Mindjet offerings: products, strengths, targets, etc.
Minimum Requirements
* Basic understanding of marketing concepts for channel and eCommerce,
* Solid skill set in PC software and Windows applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
* Ability to express written and verbal ideas clearly and concisely
*Ability to work independently
Qualifications
* Fluent written and spoken Japanese
* Interest in and working knowledge of marketing technology products in Japan
* Excellent writing, project management and organizational skills
* Ability to successfully handle multiple assignments
* Bachelor’s (or Master’s/MBA a plus) student in a related field with a minimum 3.0 G.P.A
* Prior marketing internship and/or experience (a plus)
* Preference for an individual that has lived and/or worked in Japan
