Prince George’s Community College located in Largo, MD (just outside Washington, DC) has a position open for Technical Manager – Distance Learning. The Technical Manager, Distance Learning manages a technical team, provides technical leadership and initiates technical standards and solutions to provide quality distance learning computer services and to increase the efficiency and performance of the Distance Learning organization at PGCC.

The ideal candidate will have experience in the following: 1. Integration of CMS and SIS, preferably Blackboard snapshot integration process and Datatel Colleague 2. System administration of a CMS, preferably Blackboard 3. Technical support in a distance learning environment 4. Automating course management functions, preferably using Blackboard building blocks 5. Managing a technical support team.
