JOB TITLE: Account Executive

JOB SUMMARY:
This position is responsible for supporting operations functions with sales and marketing strategies to increase the company’s market share in the region. Primary duties include soliciting new corporate clients, maintaining current accounts and promoting all company products and services to increase overall sales.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Sales Duties:
1. Engages in Sales activities to acquire new corporate accounts and group business.
2. Introduces our latest travel management services to corporate accounts.
3. Perform regularly scheduled visits to existing accounts to maintain good client relationship and communicate important industry news and service information
4. Handles Account Maintenance including customer-services.
5. Analyzes market and strategically implements the marketing plans/methods including advertisements.
6. Inputs sales information in CIMS(Customer Information Management System) and prepares weekly & monthly sales reports
7. Assists in the preparation of marketing tools and advertising materials.
8. Full knowledge of our technologies, including Travelport, KI-Web, Management Reporting, Cornerstone etc, and able to explain/demonstrate during presentation
9. Support group operations and assist with group departures & group escorting
10. Controls accounts executives, and updates accounts information.
11. Handles/delivers urgent documents/tickets.
12. Prepares and proposes Corporate Travel Management Report to appropriate corporate accounts.
13. Prepares and proposes group/meeting & incentive tours’ proposal.
14. Processes group opening, group accounts’ receivables and payables.
15. Assists the operational departments with trouble-shooting.
16. Prepare travel management proposals and conduct presentations for corporate accounts.
17. Attend out of state business trips to solicit new business
18. Assist with collection of outstanding balances for corporate accounts

QUALIFICATIONS:
1. College degree preferred
2. Strong sales background, preferably in the travel industry
3. Bilingual desirable (English and Japanese)
4. Knowledge of following applications:
Microsoft Outlook
Microsoft Word
Microsoft Excel
Microsoft Power Point
5. Apollo experience helpful
6. Group sales experience helpful
7. Proficient communication with wide range of people
