Position: Program Coordinator
Posted by: International Education Programs
Location: Washington D.C., USA
Contract: Full-Time

Here’s a job from JETAADC:

OPC Position with International Education Partners (DC)

International Education Programs (www.iepabroad.org) is looking to hire someone in DC for the fall semester, to coordinate a program for visiting students. IEP also plans study abroad trips for university classes, which JET alumni have led previously led, but this is for a U.S. post-secondary institution that will be sending 10 university students and a faculty member to DC for the fall term.

The students will be doing internships in the DMV area and so the company is assisting with funding a Program Coordinator to do the following:

  • Conduct a welcome orientation
  • Assist in planning bi-weekly events (we have them pretty much decided already actually)
  • Plan a welcome, thanksgiving and farewell dinner)
  • Be available via cell for any student concerns, program changes, etc.

The OPC will ideally be someone that lives in the DMV (DC city proper area), who has a full-time position but does not travel for work and knows DC well.

Interested candidates can send their information to Scott Tayloe at scott@iepabroad.org.
