A company specialising in providing design and related engineering work to major car manufacturers and electric companies is looking for both experienced and entry-level Modelling Based Design (MBD) and 3D CAD engineers to join their team. With a decade’s experience in 3D CAD/CAE, and MBD engineering, the company is strongly established, with branches across Japan and group companies around the world in countries around Asia, USA, and Europe. With 85% of its clients coming from the automotive industry, including companies like Honda, Nissan, and Mitsubishi Motors, the company has gained a reputation of producing great solutions for the industry and continues to grow.  This is a great opportunity for both experienced and budding engineers to utilise their skills in an exciting industry and work with like-minded peers in a conducive environment.

Job Details:

• MBD Engineer
  • Design, plan, and develop effective solutions for the company’s clients
  • Modelling, simulation, and software development using MATLAB, Simulink, and other similar tools

• 3D CAD Engineer
  • Being involved in the entire process of consulting, planning, designing, and executing effective solutions for the company’s clients.
  • CAD software used: CATIA/NX/ProE(Creo)/solidworks

Requirements:

• MBD Engineer (Entry Level)
  • University graduates in the engineering field: Programming experience, university-level understanding of maths, high-school level understanding of science
  • University Graduates in the liberal arts field: Working experience as a system engineer
• MBD Engineer (Experienced)
  • 3 years and above experience in one of the below:
    • Software development
    • Simulation tool vendor
    • Tool support

• 3D CAD Engineer (Entry level)
  • University graduate in the relevant engineering field (CAD, automotive engineering, aerospace engineering, etc.) from a Japanese university
• 3D CAD Engineer (Experienced)
  • Experience in 3DCAD, 2DCAD

or

• • Experience in designing machines

Other Requirements: N1 level Japanese, business level English

Place of work:

• Main office in Kanagawa or branch/client offices (Aichi, Shizuoka, Osaka, etc. prefectures)
• Company’s design facility (Tokyo, Tochigi, Kanagawa, etc.)
