Providinge up-to-the-minute musical content, and you’ll make our service better than ever.

About the role
You’ll manage the content and editorial responsibilities of the Japanese side of Music Unlimited among other services. That means is will involve acting as point of contact for the Japanese content editorial, building strong relationships with record labels and partners, keeping up-to-date with all the latest Japanese music charts and trends, and making sure we have every possible track available forto our customers. But more than that, you’ll oversee the promotional side of things too, identifying great opportunities for publicity and putting together weekly promotional plans for our Japanese content.

About you
It’s a wide-ranging role, so we’re looking for someone with experience of the music industry –, experience that will have honed theiryour knowledge of international music. As well as being market-orientated with a background in Marketing or PR, you’ll have interpersonal skills that are second -–to- none, and you’ll take a self-motivated approach to everything you do. If you know your way around Microsoft Office and the web, you could soon be enjoying a challenging role at the heart of a growing business.

You’re are very passionate and extremely knowledgeable about Japanese music and the local music market across the wide range of genres that make this nation so interesting and unique when it comes to music. Furthermore, you are mother-tongue standard in Japanese, ideally having spent many years in Japan. Your spoken and written English is also impeccable. You know the Japanese music industry and trends like the back of your hand and follow local developments closely.
