Job Position: Translator/Interpreter (Specialist Contract Employee)

Job Details:

Ritsumeikan Asian Pacific University is offering specialist contract positions for Translators/Interpreters (Native English speakers preferred). Job responsibilities are as follows:

  • Preparation of letters, booklets, handbooks, posters and other documents in English.
  • Interpretation and translation from Japanese to English.
  • Revision and checking of English documents.
  • Other duties may include:

    • Liaison, international exchange and research matters with overseas organizations.
    Administration work relating to APU education and research.

    *Those who have experiences in translation and interpretation are preferred.
    *Japanese level should be equivalent to Level 1 of JLPT.
