Responsibilities:
- Native speaker of English
- Good at playing with kids and enjoy kids
- Able to create lesson plans and English program itself in future
- Teaching experience, especially related to kids
- Curriculum development experience, a plus
- Be able to cooperate with other teachers even though he/she doesn’t speak
Japanese - Be able to work over the weekends or on holidays when they have any school
events
Education background is flexible, but the applicant should have at least a Bachelor’s degree and/or advanced degree.
This English program was started by a guy from New Zealand, but he is leaving Japan and they are looking for his replacement.
It’s a full time job and they can sponsor you, so even applicants in the US would be able to apply. Salary would be equal with experience and background.
They plan to have this new teacher as an assistant teacher to the current teacher until he leaves and make sure that the new teacher has enough time to learn how they run the current English program so that they can keep the same quality and the level of English program without him. This position isn’t only teaching English, but also getting involved a lot in dealing with kids such as morning play time, school events and so on.
If you have any questions, please email the school or me (Jennifer Swanson) at Jeniko3@gmail. com and good luck!
