The Mizuho Corporate Bank<\/a><\/strong> is looking for a bilingual operations assistant<\/a><\/strong> in the New York offices.<\/p>\n

DUTIES:<\/strong>
\n\u2022 Obtain a basic understanding of the Bank\u2019s applicable rules and procedures and comply with the Bank\u2019s code of conduct.
\n\u2022 Support Supervisor and Unit Head on special projects as necessary.
\n\u2022 Serve as liaison between customers and the Bank for the handling of financial transactions such as loans, time deposits and FX in accordance with the Bank\u2019s procedures.
\n\u2022 Preparation of required documents to open or close accounts and the required forms for systems registration.
\n\u2022 Understand new deals schemes and other conditions with the assistance of Account Officers.
\n\u2022 Provide quality service to customers over the telephone, assist Account Officers with complex transactions and other assignments as required.
\n\u2022 Conduct KYC processing of new account openings and annual review of assigned accounts.<\/p>\n

QUALIFICATIONS:
\n<\/strong>\u2022 Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or a related field.
\n\u2022 Effective verbal and written communication skills in both Japanese and English.
\n\u2022 Strong analytical and organizational skills.
\n\u2022 Well developed interpersonal skills.
\n\u2022 Proficiency in Excel and Word.
\n\u2022 A good team player.<\/p>\n
