The Sword Masters will offer an exhibition of the ancient arts of <em>Iaid\u014d<\/em>, <em>J\u014djutsu<\/em>, <em>J\u016bjutsu<\/em> and <em>Kend\u014d<\/em>. Master Nawata also will perform a <em>Samurai Kuroda Bushi Buyo<\/em> (dance). During this workshop, you will learn to combine basic calligraphy brush strokes with Sumie techniques to create your own holiday- inspired designs. Engage in the classic incense game of <em>kumiko<\/em> or <em>genji<\/em><em>&#8211;<\/em><em>ko<\/em>, a favorite pastime of courtiers, as depicted in <em>The Tale of Genji<\/em>.
