Upon my return to the U.S.\u00a0 I began working for a cultural exchange organization called Intrax<\/strong><\/a>.\u00a0 Headquartered in San Francisco, my company specializes in cross-cultural education through work-based initiatives such as internship and training programs.\u00a0 Specifically, these programs are geared for Japanese university graduates and young professionals seeking to gain international business experience through internships.\u00a0 I coordinate this effort through our office in Tokyo and ensure that each participant has qualifying educational background, professional experience, and motivation for joining the program.<\/p>\n I\u2019d like to ask the JET community for support in getting the word out to potential U.S.-based companies who might like to get involved by hosting an intern.\u00a0 There is no cost involved to join the program and my company handles all the sponsorship fees and paperwork.<\/p>\n Please contact me directly for more information at lcooper@intraxinc.com<\/a> or 415-434-5669<\/p>\n
