The JET Program Office is gearing up\u00a0for application season. Applications for the 2009 JET Program have\u00a0already begun to trickle in and we anticipate another busy winter with\u00a0thousands more to follow!\u00a0We need YOU to help process these applications with us! Do you have some\u00a0extra time on your hands? Come help the JET Office!
\nWork Term: <\/strong>November 12 through mid-January\u00a02010.
\nHours:\u00a0<\/strong>9:30am to 5:00pm, with lunch from 1:00-1:30pm.
\nPay:<\/strong> $70\/day
\nRequirements:<\/strong> You must be ineligible to apply to the JET Program.<\/p>\n

We are seeking enthusiastic, professional, and quick learners with\u00a0strong organizational skills. You also must be ok sitting for long\u00a0periods of time and doing repetitive work. Even if\u00a0you can only work the morning shift or the afternoon shift, we might be\u00a0able to use your help; of course, individuals who can help full days,\u00a0Monday-Friday are especially needed!
\nEach year, JET Program Office temp staff is a mix of JET alumni and\u00a0Japanese citizens. It’s the most hectic time of year for the JET Office\u00a0but we always have fun reminiscing about our JET days while we sort\u00a0through the thousands of applications. We also usually have a few native\u00a0Japanese speaking temps as well, so it’s a great opportunity to practice\u00a0Japanese while you work! (Japanese citizens may apply.)<\/p>\n

New JET returnees who have not yet found full-time work, this is a great\u00a0opportunity for you! Other JET alumni – even if you are already\u00a0employed, does your job allow you to work part-time? Working\u00a0mornings-only or afternoons-only IS an option!
\nEven if you are a Japanese citizen FOJ (Friend of JET), living in the DC\u00a0area, we can use your help so please let us know if you’re interested.<\/p>\n
