The Exploring Leadership Program is excited to announce new job openings!
\nIn an effort to address the ever-widening achievement gap in our public\u00a0high schools, Exploring Leadership has designed a new after-school\u00a0Spring Component to its 10-month experiential leadership training\u00a0program. We are seeking 10 highly skilled and passionate \u201cCoro Campus\u00a0Managers\u201d, independent contractors. <\/p>\n

Responsibilities:\u00a0<\/strong>The Campus Manager is a part of a 12-member program staff team. Each\u00a0Campus Manager will be responsible for managing 1 of the 12 Coro\u00a0Campuses or partner high schools.\u00a0 He\u00a0or she will work closely with the three selected 11th grade Coro Youth\u00a0Fellows to facilitate after-school leadership workshops to a group of\u00a0fifteen 9th and 10th graders at their schools via coaching, mentoring,\u00a0and consistent feedback.\u00a0 He\u00a0or she is responsible for ensuring that program goals are met under the\u00a0supervision of the Director of Youth Programs and the Youth Programs\u00a0Manager.<\/p>\n

Time Commitment: <\/strong>(January – April 2010)
\nExcept for the first 3 weeks in January, the time commitment is\u00a0alternating weeks of 16 hours and 10 hours that includes the weekly\u00a0after-school workshop and prep time, a Friday program team meeting, and\u00a0Saturday seminars every other week.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Compensation:<\/strong> (January \u2013 April 2010)\u00a0
\n$20\/hr for approximately 206 hours of independent contract work over 4 months = $4,120 total\/$1,030 per month.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The positions will be open until filled.
