Position: <\/strong>Manager, Student Services for the CIEE Study Center.<\/p>\n

CIEE<\/a> is looking to hire a Manager, Student Services in our Study\u00a0Center\u00a0located at Sophia University in Tokyo, Japan.\u00a0 This individual is\u00a0responsible for all general aspects of program operations including:\u00a0student\u00a0affairs and support, and general office support. This person will also\u00a0be\u00a0responsible for the day-to-day management of the summer program. The\u00a0Manager, Student Services is responsible for ensuring the highest\u00a0levels of\u00a0program quality and customer satisfaction.\u00a0 The position includes but\u00a0is not\u00a0limited to the responsibilities described and is subject to change.<\/p>\n

The Resident Director is a full-time position with an anticipated\u00a0start date\u00a0of October 15, 2009.\u00a0 Salary is commensurate with qualifications.\u00a0Compensation includes the CIEE benefits package.<\/p>\n

Required Qualifications and Competencies:<\/strong>
\n* Master’s degree, required.
\n* Post-graduate degree in discipline relevant to the mission of the\u00a0program.
\n* 4-7 years’ professional work experience, preferably in an\u00a0international\u00a0education-related position.
\n* Fluent in Japanese and English.
\n* Strong leadership skills and commitment to customer service.
\n* Must have an in-depth knowledge of Japanese culture, history,\u00a0business\u00a0practices, and academic environment as well as U.S. higher education.
\n* Must be currently working in Tokyo or elsewhere in Japan at the time\u00a0of\u00a0application.<\/p>\n
