The primary agency web site (www.seniorservices.org) is\u00a0built on the DotNetNuke CMS platform. The position is responsible for managing the\u00a0DotNetNuke system and for researching, purchasing, and documenting new modules. The\u00a0position will be expected to guide different levels of staff in the planning of web pages and then\u00a0implementing those pages independently, obtaining or creating all graphics required, assisting\u00a0in the creation and processing of video, and building the web pages within DotNetNuke. The\u00a0Website Content Manager is responsible for training staff in the use of DotNetNuke modules to\u00a0allow other departments to manage their web sites and pages. The position is responsible for\u00a0gathering and reporting web stats and for search engine optimization. The Website Content\u00a0Manager is responsible for managing, enhancing, and promoting the agency Intranet \u2013 also on\u00a0the DotNetNuke platform.<!--more-->****<\/span><\/p>\n<p>At <a href=\"http:\/\/www.seniorservices.org\/\" target=\"_blank\">Senior Services<\/a> we embrace the belief that cultural, social, and other differences should be respected and\u00a0celebrated. This provides the foundation for empowering our customers (primarily those who are aging and giving\u00a0care to others) so their needs are justly represented and their desires amply fulfilled.<\/p>\n<p><strong>ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIE<\/strong><strong>S<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Primary webmaster for all agency web\u00a0sites<\/li>\n<li>manage, enhance, and document DotNetNuke, the agency\u2019s primary content\u00a0management system<\/li>\n<li>actively manage the content development for the agency homepage<\/li>\n<li>work with staff to plan, design, and implement new web pages using DotNetNuke<\/li>\n<li>work to\u00a0continuously improve and enhance the organization\u2019s web presence<\/li>\n<li>assist management in the\u00a0planning of overall company strategy regarding web development<\/li>\n<li>provide DotNetNuke training\u00a0to staff and continually update DotNetNuke training materials<\/li>\n<li>manage the agency Intranet and\u00a0strive to make it a more important asset for the agency<\/li>\n<li>optimize all agency web sites for major\u00a0Internet search engines<\/li>\n<li>manage monthly web stats for all web sites and provide web stats\u00a0analysis when necessary<\/li>\n<li>assist with planning, filming, and editing video and graphics projects\u00a0for agency web sites<\/li>\n<li>manage all online donation, registration, and payment web pages<\/li>\n<li>research and stay up-to-date on current and emerging web technologies<\/li>\n<li>other duties\/projects\u00a0as necessary and or assigned.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>M<\/strong><strong>inimum qualification<\/strong><strong>s <\/strong>(Reasonable\u00a0accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential\u00a0functions):<\/p>\n<p>1. BA\/BS. Four years of highly related experience may be substituted for the degree.<br \/>\n2. 4 years experience managing content and production for high traffic websites.<br \/>\n3. Advanced knowledge of (X)HTML and CSS.<br \/>\n4. Strong graphic design skills using Adobe Photoshop or equivalent.<br \/>\n5. Ability to write and document procedures clearly and effectively.<br \/>\n6. Ability to work and solve problems independently.<br \/>\n7. Experience with DotNetNuke or equivalent Content Management System.<br \/>\n8. Experience with video production, editing, and YouTube or equivalent video sharing tools.<br \/>\n9. Proficiency with Google Analytics or equivalent web stats tools.<br \/>\n10. Proficiency with Google Webmaster tools.<br \/>\n11. Ability to build consensus and work effectively within a cross-department team.<br \/>\n12. Ability to provide small or large group training sessions.<br \/>\n13. Experience with all of the Microsoft Office tools: Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook.<br \/>\n14.
