A Japanese Food manufacturing company located in Plano, TX is currently seeking a full time, fully onsite Accounting Assistant & Administrative Support to join their team.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The role focuses on daily accounts payable and receivable (AP\/AR) activities while supporting the Senior Accountant with essential closing processes. It is an ideal fit for a collaborative team player who enjoys balancing financial tasks with general office coordination.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

DOE and skills, the pay range for this opportunity would be between the 45k-50k mark with great benefits.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Your main duties would be as follows:<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

  • AP\/AR Coordination: Manages daily cash receipts, bank deposits, and credit card payments while monitoring bank account transactions.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Vendor & Billing: Processes vendor bills, prepares payments (Check\/ACH\/Wire), and maintains communication with vendors.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Collections: Monitors overdue accounts and sends statements to ensure timely customer payments.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Closing & Audit Support: Assists the Senior Accountant with month-end and year-end closing tasks and coordinates documentation for external auditors.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • HR Administration: Manages employee timecards and maintains vacation and sick leave balances.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • General Administration: Greets visitors, coordinates travel arrangements, manages office supplies, and prepares administrative reports for management.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

    Please consider the following qualifications when applying:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    • Experience: 3+ years of accounting-related experience is preferred.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Software: Proficiency in Microsoft Office and QuickBooks is required.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Language: English fluency is required; Japanese proficiency is a plus but not mandatory for this role.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Education: Bachelor\u2019s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n
