A Japanese Manufacturing company is currently looking for a full time, fully onsite Sales Engineer ( Sales Representative) to join their Plano, TX location.

The ideal candidate will drive new business growth, manage key accounts, provide technical sales support, and share market insights to strengthen brand presence and support continuous improvement. This is also an entry level position, so candidates with existing engineering and\/or sales experience are ideal, but candidates with no prior experience in these fields but interested are encouraged to apply.

Japanese proficiency, although a very big plus, is not required. DOE and skills, the pay range for this opportunity will be between 55k-80k with great benefits.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

Your essential duties would be as follows:
<\/strong>\u30fbIdentify and qualify new business opportunities which are well aligned with our manufacturing and global network capabilities.
\u30fbResearch markets, organizations, and individuals to find new business opportunities.
\u30fbSupport and maintain current accounts to keep a strong relationship with them. Try to extract new projects from them.
\u30fbActively pursue new business opportunities in various industries and be in talks for a design win.
\u30fbEstablish and utilize new marketing tools to increase our brand exposure and awareness.
\u30fbProvide answers and solutions to customer questions about our products, servicing, and other technical aspects of the product.
\u30fbDevelop and deliver product demonstrations and sales presentations that explain key technical aspects of solutions that will benefit customers and prospects.
\u30fbAttend and exhibit at various trade shows or industry events to understand current trends and technologies.
\u30fbProvide feedback from the market including key accounts, sales representatives, and tradeshows to the team internally, as well as R&D, for process or product improvement.
\u30fbContribute to the overall team by accomplishing related operations as needed. Performs other duties as requested.

Please consider the following qualifications:
<\/strong>\u30fbSome experience in sales is preferred, but not mandatory.
\u30fbExperience in the electronics industry and\/or engineering is a plus.
\u30fbEnglish speaking ability (speaking, reading, and writing) is a must.
\u30fbJapanese ability is a plus but not required.
\u30fbPrevious work experience with a Japanese company, or knowledge of Japanese culture is a
Plus.
