Description:
The Permanent Mission of Japan to the United Nations is seeking an individual to fill a vacancy in the political section.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

1. Brief Job Description
General clerical and administrative support in addition to attending various meetings and taking minutes of them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2. Location

3. Qualifications
[Required]
\u2010 US citizen or permanent resident
– Native-level English proficiency and touch typing
\u2010 Graduate student or expected graduate student in relevant fields (e.g. international politics, international security, public policy, etc.)<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

[Advantage]
– Japanese proficiency
\u2010 Experiences in an international organization or a Japanese Government-related organization
– Able to start working in early March 2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n

4. Employment
Locally hired staff<\/p>\n\n\n\n

5. Working hours
Monday through Friday
9:30-18:15<\/p>\n\n\n\n

6. Term
2 years with 3 months of probation. The term will be renewed at the end if both parties agree.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

7. Salary
About 5,000 \u2013 6,500 USD\/month<\/p>\n\n\n\n
