Payroll Administration for TransPerfect in NY<\/strong><\/p>\n

Position Summary:<\/strong> The Payroll individual to manage, process and coordinate all aspects of bi-weekly and monthly payrolls for over 1,000 national and international employees.<\/p>\n

Position responsibilities:<\/strong>
\n* Processes bi-weekly payroll, reports, reconciliations, payroll taxes, year-end procedures and W-2’s for multi-state employees. Coordinates and audits monthly international payrolls.
\n* Ensures the accurate processing of all mandatory and voluntary deductions as well as garnishments, liens, direct deposit requests, 401K loans, etc.
\n* Responds to inquiries and verifications for unemployment and other payroll-related data.
\n* Maintains related records, filing tax, preparing accounting transactions and documents, documenting and updating procedures, and preparing special reports for management.
\n* Ensures legal compliance in completing all paperwork including all Federal, State and Local laws regarding payroll administration.
\n* Ensures compliance with all company policies and procedures as they relate to payroll.
\n* Processes all bi-weekly, special compensation, commission, and bonus checks with the highest standard of accuracy and timeliness.
\n* Counsel and resolve employee payroll issues.
\n* Ability to create and analyze reports on an as needed basis.
\n* Analyze current payroll policies and procedures and recommend best practices for efficiency and accuracy. Keeps current in trends and regulations as they relate to the payroll function.
\n* Perform other special projects or duties when required<\/p>\n

Essential skills and experience required:<\/strong><\/p>\n

* BA degree and minimum 5 years related experience in multi-state and international payroll processes and procedures
\n* Computer literacy to include MS Office products as well as payroll software
\n* Excellent communications and customer services skills. Ability to interface well with a variety of employees at all levels under deadline pressure required.
\n* Able to accurately multi-task and extreme attention to detail essential.
\n* Must have international payroll experience.<\/p>\n

Valued but not required skills and experience:<\/strong><\/p>\n

* ADP payroll experience preferred
\n* Accounting experience
\n* Experience using PayExpert & EzLabor
\n* Ability to utilize report writing software<\/p>\n
