A Japanese Manufacturing company located in New York is currently looking for a fully remote, full-time Japanese-English Bilingual Account Manager to join their team.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As an account manager, you would maintain and increase sales of the company’s residential\/commercial decorative material products in the United States and other emerging markets in the Americas through building relationships and superior customer service.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Your main responsibilities for this position would be:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Perform all facets of sales activities including customer service of existing accounts, sales presentations, sample development, order solicitation, production scheduling, and after sale follow up.<\/li>
  2. Communicate extensively with customers\u2019 Purchasing, Quality Control, R&D, Design, and Logistics people as well as the Japanese headquarters sales office to provide effective products\/services. Coordinates the entire process from pre-production, production, through to delivery of the products.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
    1. Develop sales strategies to market products. Maintains existing customers by quality assurance and their satisfaction and develops relationships with new customers.<\/li>
    2. Research industry design trends to lead the development of saleable new designs\/colors.<\/li>
    3. Research new industries, prepare reports and identify potential clients.<\/li>
    4. Travels a) to see existing and potential customers and promote products, b) to attend trade shows to establish new contacts and market our products.<\/li>
    5. Writes sales reports, customer correspondence, and related business correspondence.<\/li>
    6. Prepares quotations, contracts, and follows up with customers.<\/li>
    7. Handle other tasks as needed.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n

      Please consider the following qualifications when applying for this position:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      1. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.<\/li>
      2. 5~10 years of OEM or B2B sales & marketing experience<\/li>
      3. Proven ability to develop sales and marketing strategies aggressively and efficiently.<\/li>
      4. Self-motivated, self-starter with strong communication and organizational skills.<\/li>
      5. Traveling and driving is required. (No need to have your own car.)<\/li>
      6. Basic knowledge of computer systems and applications<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n
