Please note that you must be a\u00a0U.S. citizen or U.S. Green card holder.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Consulate General of Japan is seeking a highly motivated, team-oriented candidate for the position of Secretary at Consulate General of Japan in Miami.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Qualifications<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Fluency in English language with good communication skills, Spanish Language proficiency is preferred.<\/li><li>U.S. citizen or U.S. Green card holder.<\/li><li>Responsibility, Teamwork skills, Ability to multi-task.<\/li><li>Proficiency in computer skills including Microsoft office.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Job Summary<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Manage the schedules and daily activities of the Consul-General and other Consuls.<\/li><li>Make appointments, develop itineraries, arrange meetings, assist in organizing events, and coordinate transportation for the Consul-General and other Consuls.<\/li><li>Maintain\/ update contact databases, send invitations, count responses and respond to inquiries.<\/li><li>Follow Florida\u2019s Political and Economic news.<\/li><li>Other responsibilities as needed and instructed by the Consul-General and diplomats.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Location of Work<\/strong>: Consulate General of Japan in Miami<br>80 S.W. 8th Street, Suite 3200, FL<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Date and period of employment<\/strong>: April 1, 2023 &#8211; March 31, 2024 (12 months); Renewable if completed with good working performance<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Employment Conditions<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Working hours: 7.5 hours a day from 9:00am-17:30pm with an hour of lunch break,<\/li><li>Monday through Friday, except for Consulate\u2019s holidays.
