We are looking for a self-starter who has a passion for international education, humanitarian causes and Japan. Hybrid job (2 days in, 3 days remote). Native-level fluency in Japanese is required.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>RESPONSIBILITIES<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Communications<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Create content for and regularly update the JICUF website and social media accounts<\/li><li>Publish a quarterly newsletter<\/li><li>Oversee the publication of the annual JICUF impact report<\/li><li>Manage the publication of JICUF\u2019s annual fundraising appeal<\/li><li>Manage JICUF\u2019s photography and communications interns<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<p>Operations<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Assist JICUF\u2019s offsite accounting firm, Jitasa, on various accounting matters, including the processing of invoices, coding of revenue and expenses, and collection of expense reports and employee timesheets<\/li><li>Maintain vendor files<\/li><li>Manage JICUF\u2019s donor database<\/li><li>Process and file the mail<\/li><li>Help with the planning of various events<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The&nbsp;<em>Communications and Operations Associate<\/em>&nbsp;will be asked to assist with the implementation of various JICUF programs in addition to the responsibilities listed above.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE<\/strong>: JICUF is seeking a candidate with the following skills and experience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Native level fluency in Japanese<\/li><li>Business level English<\/li><li>Strong organizational skills<\/li><li>Strong written and verbal communication skills<\/li><li>Familiarity with Google Suite<\/li><li>Familiarity with WordPress, MailChimp, and design softwares such as Canva and Photoshop a plus<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>SALARY RANGE<\/strong>: $50,000 &#8211; $65,000<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>BENEFITS<\/strong>: JICUF offers a competitive benefits package, including health, dental and vision insurance, a 401k program, life insurance and short and long-term disability.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>OTHER MATTERS<\/strong>: JICUF has a hybrid work environment.
