The Program Assistants will have responsibilities in the following areas:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Program Support<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Provide logistical and administrative support to programs, alongside other program staff, including scheduling, logistics, travel arrangements, and program promotion for a project portfolio which may include:<ul><li><a href=\"https:\/\/mansfieldfdn.org\/program\/strengthening-government-and-expert-networks\/bridging-the-divide\/\">Bridging the Divide<\/a><\/li><li><a href=\"https:\/\/mansfieldfdn.org\/program\/strengthening-government-and-expert-networks\/mansfield-luce-asia-scholars-network\/\">Mansfield-Luce Asia Scholars Network<\/a><\/li><li><a href=\"https:\/\/mansfieldfdn.org\/k-1\/visiting-fellows\/\">Foundation\u2019s Korean Visiting Fellowship<\/a><\/li><li>Women\u2019s Empowerment programs<\/li><li>Other programs as assigned<\/li><\/ul><\/li><li>Supporting role in the preparation and submission of existing grant proposals, reports, and concept papers in collaboration and seeking new grant possibilities with senior staff by establishing priorities and target dates for information gathering and review<\/li><li>Provide task and management support to the organization\u2019s fundraisers<\/li><li>Maintain accurate and up-to-date information in the organization\u2019s grants database on prospective and awarded grants<\/li><li>Perform other administrative and organizational duties as required and assigned to assist in the effective operation of programs<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Qualifications<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em><u>Required<\/u><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>One year or more of professional experience in international exchange programs<ul><li>Note: internship or volunteer experience is acceptable<\/li><\/ul><\/li><li>Some Korean language ability is required for one of the two positions; please note in your application if you possess Korean language ability<\/li><li>Computer skills and strong written and communication skills are essential<\/li><li>Problem solver with proactive and positive attitude<\/li><li>Demonstrated ability to navigate things to improve and provide feedback<\/li><li>Detail-oriented<\/li><li>Demonstrated written communication skills; strong English-language skills<\/li><li>Must be able to work independently and as part of a team<\/li><li>U.S. citizenship or current work visa is required<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><em><u>Preferred<\/u><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Competitive candidates will have a college degree and demonstrated interest in International Relations, Asian studies, or related fields<\/li><li>While Korean competency is required for one of the positions, native-level fluency (both in writing and speaking) is preferred for that position.
