Term of scholarship: April 2010 to March 2012 or October 2010 to March 2012.\u00a0 Includes a half-year of Japanese language training\u00a0for those who need Japanese language training.\u00a0 Applicants need to be less than 35 years of age as of April 1, 2010 and must be university graduates.\u00a0 Those who will be graduating from a university by March or September 2010 may apply.<\/p>\n<p>&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212; &#8212;&#8212;&#8212; &#8212;&#8212;&#8212; &#8212;&#8212;&#8212; &#8212;&#8212;&#8212; &#8212;-<\/p>\n<p>Undergraduate Student Scholarship<\/p>\n<p>&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212; &#8212;&#8212;&#8212; &#8212;&#8212;&#8212; &#8212;&#8212;&#8212; &#8212;&#8212;&#8212; &#8212;-<\/p>\n<p>(Deadline: July 17, 2009)<\/p>\n<p>Four to\u00a0seven year scholarship is available to high school graduates who are between 17 to 21 years of age as of April 1, 2010. Includes a one-year Japanese language program at a Japanese language school prior to attending\u00a0a Japanese\u00a0university as an undergraduate student. Term of scholarship: April 2010-March 2015. For scholarship grantees majoring in a six-year course in medicine, dentistry, veterinary medicine or pharmacy, the term of the scholarship will be seven years until March 2017.<\/p>\n<p>&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212; &#8212;&#8212;&#8212; &#8212;&#8212;&#8212; &#8212;&#8212;&#8212; &#8212;&#8212;&#8212; &#8212;&#8212;&#8212; &#8212;-<\/p>\n<p>Professional Training College Scholarship<\/p>\n<p>&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212; &#8212;&#8212;&#8212; &#8212;&#8212;&#8212; &#8212;&#8212;&#8212; &#8212;&#8212;&#8212; &#8212;&#8212;&#8212; &#8212;-<\/p>\n<p>(Deadline: July 17, 2009)<\/p>\n<p>Covers a three-year period of vocational studies in the following areas: Civil Engineering, Architecture, Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Telecommunication, Nutrition, Infant Education, Secretarial Studies, Hotel Management, Tourism, Fashion, Dress Making, Design, Photography, and other fields of study. Includes a one-year Japanese language program at a Japanese language school prior to attending a Professional Training College. Term of scholarship: April 2010-March 2013. Available to high school graduates who are between 17 to 21 years of age as of April 1, 2010.<\/p>\n<p>&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212; &#8212;&#8212;&#8212; &#8212;&#8212;&#8212;<\/p>\n<p>Scholarship Benefits<\/p>\n<p>&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212; &#8212;&#8212;&#8212; &#8212;&#8212;&#8212;<\/p>\n<p>1. Monthly stipend<\/p>\n<p>(152, 000 yen~ for Research Student Scholarship)<\/p>\n<p>(125, 000 yen~ for\u00a0Undergraduate and\u00a0Professional Training College\u00a0Scholarships)<\/p>\n<p>2. Travel expenses to and from Japan<\/p>\n<p>3.
