Oyamada is an Akutagawa Prize-winning writer and the author of&nbsp;<em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ndbooks.com\/book\/the-factory\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">The Factory<\/a><\/em>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ndbooks.com\/book\/the-hole-1\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><em>The Hole<\/em><\/a>, both of which were translated by Boyd. The Japan Foundation supported the English publications of&nbsp;<em>The Hole<\/em>&nbsp;through the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.jpf.go.jp\/e\/project\/culture\/publication\/supportlist_publish\/list.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Support Program for Translation and Publication on Japan<\/a>.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The event is now available to watch on our YouTube channel!
