The\u00a0Japan-U.S. Friendship Commission (JUSFC)<\/a>\u00a0and the\u00a0International House of Japan (I-House)<\/a>\u00a0are currently seeking three Summer Interns for\u00a0short-term (not to exceed two weeks) internships during late July-August 2020 to coincide with the Olympic Games in Tokyo<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The interns will support the ongoing activities of the\u00a02020 U.S.-Japan Creative Artists Program (NichiBei Creative Artists)<\/a>\u00a0. JUSFC and the National Endowment for the Arts have selected five artistic teams for this program. Each team of artists from the United States and Japan are working on a collaborative artistic project that will be presented to the public in Tokyo during summer 2020. The internship is expected to be fast-paced, and will be based in Tokyo. This is an unpaid internship, and relocation to Tokyo is not covered. However, JUSFC and I-House will reimburse local transportation costs for daily commuting.<\/p>\n
