We are looking for bilingual fixers \/ drivers to support broadcast media teams in Tokyo.<\/span><\/p>\n

Period: July \/ August \/ September 2020 for a minimum of two weeks<\/p>\n

Job description:<\/strong><\/p>\n

Linguists with a good local knowledge of Tokyo will be supporting visiting media teams throughout their time in Japan. Staff must be able to drive and communicate smoothly in Japanese and one of the following – English (main) \/ French \/ German \/ Portuguese.<\/p>\n

The role is varied and may include some or all of the following – Facilitating communication between Japanese and non-Japanese speakers, supporting the team on location, moving equipment, driving the film crew \/ VIPs to and from appointments, admin support, research, shopping, other tasks requested by the film crew.<\/p>\n

Qualifications \/ Experience:<\/strong><\/p>\n

JLPT Level 2 \/ Eiken Level 2 or equivalent \/ good communication skills Driving licence (class 2 licence welcomed!)<\/p>\n
