Here’s a job passed along to us that are specifically looking to hire JET alums:<\/p>\n

Japan Exchange Group, owner of the largest stock and derivatives exchanges in Japan, is looking for an in-house native English speaker to translate, proofread, edit and write documents and releases for English-speaking audiences. This position in Tokyo offers the opportunity to work with the global communications team in the corporate group at the heart of Japan’s securities industry.<\/p>\n

Knowledge of finance (the stock market in particular) is welcome but not required. If interested, please send in a cover letter and resume (in both a standard Japanese application format and English (preferably PDFs) if possible) by the closing date below. The hiring process will include document screening, interviews, and a written test. Outline: Full-time, annual renewable contract 7-hour, 5-day work week with paid vacation and other employee benefits Excellent Japanese reading and English writing ability is required Valid Japan working visa preferable Subsidized housing available<\/p>\n
