The main duties of the videographer will includes production of live and recorded news events, editing of video for air transmission, setting up live-shots, and performing technical administrative tasks in support of the bureau and staff.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Please note: Candidates must currently reside in the United States (Work visa support provided)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Qualifications:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Advanced Japanese, Conversational English<\/li>\n<li>Strong interest in video production<\/li>\n<li>Must maintain a valid driver\u2019s license<\/li>\n<li>Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment<\/li>\n<li>Flexibility, resourcefulness and able to work in teams<\/li>\n<li>Able to carry at least 10kg of equipment<\/li>\n<li>Strong computer skills and proficient in Microsoft office<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Responsibilities include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Filming using ENG camera (professional TV camera) and transferring footage via PC<\/li>\n<li>Using TVU video transmitter equipment to conduct live shots from both within and outside of bureau<\/li>\n<li>Cutting and editing footage using EDIUS software<\/li>\n<li>Storing and managing past recorded footage and files<\/li>\n<li>Domestic travel (low possibility of foreign travel)<\/li>\n<li>Expected to work overtime and some weekends<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Salary is commensurate with experience and includes overtime.
