Here’s the info for this Sunday.\u00a0 The plan is to bowl a couple of games at the Fountain Bowl in Fountain Valley then dinner at Ebisu afterwards just down the street.\u00a0 And whoever is interested in a nijiikai, karaoke is right there a couple doors down.<\/p>\n

I’m holding this event so alumni who live in Orange County who have not been able to attend any events held by the major alumni association have something to go to and hang out with fellow alumni and meet others in the area.\u00a0 I also hope this\u00a0gives a chance for any new members who recently return to attend.\u00a0 Basically, let’s just get together and have some fun.\u00a0 <\/p>\n

Ok, enough babbling. \u00a0 <\/strong><\/p>\n

When<\/span><\/strong>:\u00a0 March 22, 2009
\nWhere<\/span><\/strong>:\u00a0 Bowling – Fountain Bowl, 17110 Brookhurst St, Fountain Valley.\u00a0 Located on the corner of Brookhurst and Warner, north of the 405.\u00a0 http:\/\/www.fountainbowl.com\/index.php<\/a> Dinner – Ebisu, 18924-A Brookhurst St, Fountain Valley.\u00a0 Located on the corner of Brookhurst and Garfield, south of the 405.\u00a0 http:\/\/www.ebisuramen.com\/<\/a>.\u00a0 There’s all types of noodles served here, ramen, soba, udon, but also okonomiyaki, and other things.\u00a0 Pretty good.
\nTime<\/span><\/strong>:\u00a0 Bowling 2pm – 5pm Dinner – after bowling, between 5pm and 6pm – whenever we’re done eating. \u00a0
\nWho<\/span><\/strong>:\u00a0 JET alumni and FOJ (friends of JET)
\nCost<\/span><\/strong>:\u00a0 Bowling:\u00a0 As of right now, $5.50 per game and $4 for shoes.\u00a0 If we get enough people, the games may be cheaper, $5.00\/ game.\u00a0 I might be able to do something more for the alumni themselves, but I’m still working on that.
\nDinner:<\/strong> Ok, I forgot to grab a menu, and the menu is not working on the web site, but it’s not expensive.\u00a0 I would say between $10-15.\u00a0 Maybe even less.<\/p>\n

I think that’s everything.\u00a0 I hope some of you can come.\u00a0 Even if you don’t want to bowl, come down and hang out with us before going to dinner.\u00a0 And don’t worry about if you never bowled before, it’s all for fun.\u00a0 I’ll even have prizes.\u00a0 For those who weren’t sure when you first emailed me, please send me another to confirm if you’ll be able to attend one or the other or both.\u00a0 If you have any questions, please ask.<\/p>\n
