Processing staff will have the opportunity to learn more about the JET Program from the inside, meet JET alumni, and become more involved with the JETAA and U.S.-Japan communities in D.C.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000\"><span class=\"m_1613885290014943732e2ma-style\">This is a temporary position lasting from early\/mid-November to late December 2017 or early January 2018. Please find more information about the position below<\/span>:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000\"><strong><span class=\"m_1613885290014943732e2ma-style\">RESPONSIBILITIES<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<div>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000\">Checking application materials for completeness; sorting and filing applications<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000\">Data entry and preparation of application materials for review<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000\">Responding to inquiries from applicants<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000\">Occasional creation of social media posts<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000\"><strong><span class=\"m_1613885290014943732e2ma-style\">POSITION DETAILS<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span class=\"m_1613885290014943732e2ma-style\"><span style=\"color: #000000\">Staff will work in the JET Program Office at the Embassy of Japan<\/span> (<a href=\"https:\/\/maps.google.com\/?q=2520+Massachusetts+Avenue+NW,+Washington,+D.C.+20008&amp;entry=gmail&amp;source=g\">2520 Massachusetts Avenue NW, Washington, D.C. 20008<\/a><\/span><span class=\"m_1613885290014943732e2ma-style\" style=\"color: #000000\">).<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000\">Working hours are <span class=\"aBn\"><span class=\"aQJ\">Monday<\/span><\/span>&#8211;<span class=\"aBn\"><span class=\"aQJ\">Friday<\/span><\/span> from <span class=\"aBn\"><span class=\"aQJ\">9:30AM to 5:00PM<\/span><\/span>.
