The Program Assistant will help JICUF\u2019s three full-time staff on an as-needed basis. This may include helping to manage our grants portfolio, scholarship programs, short term international programs, and communications and fundraising efforts.<\/p>\n<p><strong>PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The PA\u2019s responsibilities will include such tasks as:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Database management<\/li>\n<li>Designing and compiling documents<\/li>\n<li>Processing and filing the mail<\/li>\n<li>Translation of correspondence\/documents<\/li>\n<li>Copy editing<\/li>\n<li>Event planning<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>QUALIFICATIONS<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor\u2019s degree<\/li>\n<li>Bilingual in English and Japanese<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge and familiarity with Japanese higher education, especially ICU, a plus<\/li>\n<li>Proficiency in Google Suite products<\/li>\n<li>Must be authorized to work in the United States<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>COMPENSATION<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The position is for 18 hours\/week and the pay is $16\/hour.
