We provide the logistics and staff support to facilitate the\u00a0international course, allowing the faculty member to focus on the academic portion of the trip.<\/p>\n<p>These programs vary in duration, location, travel and activities based on the needs of the\u00a0institution.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Position Title:<\/strong> On-Site Program Coordinator (OPC)<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description &amp; Offer:<\/strong> This position is a part time, contract position, functioning as part of the Customised Faculty Led\u00a0Programs team and reports to the Customised Programs Coordinator who specializes in the\u00a0designated country. The primary role of this position is to facilitate the in-country\u00a0implementation of the assigned customized program and provide safety\/emergency support as\u00a0needed. During the program, the OnSite Program Coordinator is responsible for managing the\u00a0day-to-day logistics of the assigned customized program and providing in-country support to\u00a0both the leading faculty and students. Using personal travel experience and where possible\u00a0language knowledge, the On-Site Program Coordinator will help create a program environment\u00a0that is safe and conducive to cultural engagement. This position is contracted for the duration\u00a0of the program.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Specific Duties<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Pre -program:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Complete required training prior to program<\/li>\n<li>Meet with Program Coordinator to review program<\/li>\n<li>Meet with Faculty and Program Coordinator to get acquainted and review program<\/li>\n<li>Skype into student pre-departure to say hello (5 minutes)<\/li>\n<li>Check program logistics and (possibly) make reservations<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>During program:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Provide in-country health and safety orientation for faculty and students<\/li>\n<li>Facilitate all logistical aspects of the program including transportation, planned excursions and tours, group meals, and accommodations<\/li>\n<li>Manage group onsite funds, payments, and receipts (when applicable)<\/li>\n<li>Travel with group to all scheduled destinations and events<\/li>\n<li>Serve in an on- call capacity, facilitating emergency protocol if necessary<\/li>\n<li>Implement La Vida Local and other cultural components<\/li>\n<li>Take photos daily<\/li>\n<li>Create a positive and flexible environment throughout the program<\/li>\n<li>Provide 24\/7 full program support<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Post- program:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Upload photos to the company photo sharing website<\/li>\n<li>Send in Student Evaluations<\/li>\n<li>Send in declining balance card, receipts and expense report<\/li>\n<li>Debrief with Program Coordinator<\/li>\n<li>Complete OPC Evaluation<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ability to represent CISaustralia with enthusiasm, integrity, accuracy, and in the spirit of its mission<\/li>\n<li>Interest in working with college students and faculty in an international environment<\/li>\n<li>Organized, professional, energetic, flexible, independent, creative<\/li>\n<li>Experience managing groups, work with US students preferred<\/li>\n<li>Excellent communication and customer service skills<\/li>\n<li>International study, intern, work, and\/or volunteer experience<\/li>\n<li>Experience traveling in the placement location<\/li>\n<li>Host language conversation skills preferred<\/li>\n<li>Bachelor\u2019s degree (or equivalent) and minimum of two years work experience, or some\u00a0graduate school<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div>\n<div><strong>Stipend and Benefits<\/strong><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Airfare (if necessary), transportation to program location, accommodation (if necessary), and all\u00a0in-country travel expenses will be covered for the duration of the program. A daily stipend (in\u00a0Australian Dollars) will be paid for services rendered, as well as a daily food stipend.
