The position interfaces with the public, <\/span>vendors<span style=\"color: #000000\"> and staff. The Manager of Box Office and Administrative Services is responsible for supervising the Visitor Services Associates, and the Finance and Administration Department&#8217;s Administrative Assistant.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #000000\">ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:<\/span><\/strong><!--more--><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000\">Visitor Services and Box Office<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000\">Hire, supervise and train Visitor Services Admissions and Front Desk staff;<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000\">Resolve customer-service issues and ticketing problems;<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000\">Administer Box Office ticketing system including setting up events, troubleshooting ticket problems, arranging for refunds and exchanges as necessary;<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000\">Maintain stock of ticketing supplies;<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000\">Develop monthly Visitor Services staffing schedule;<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000\">Provide coverage for Visitor Services\/Front Desk, and Mailroom as needed.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000\">Program Operations<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000\">Assist Director of Program Operations with <\/span>rental<span style=\"color: #000000\"> program and provide back-up as necessary for the following:<\/span>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000\">Coordinating logistics for Japan Society programs and rental events;<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000\">Responding to inquiries for rental events, and leading tours of Japan Society rental event spaces;<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000\">Liaising with Japan Society departments and rental organizations during events.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000\">Administrative Services<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000\">Supervise Administrative Assistant who provides staffing for Front Desk and Mailroom;<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000\">Maintain and order office and other supplies.
