The intern will also gain a general overview of the Japan Society\u2019s programs and events.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities may include:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Assist Finance team with annual audit preparation<\/li>\n<li>Prepare, organize and maintain files and reports<\/li>\n<li>Input invoices for payment<\/li>\n<li>Maintain and update databases<\/li>\n<li>Perform various administrative duties as needed<\/li>\n<li>Assist in various projects<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<div>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><strong>Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Good interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills<\/li>\n<li>Proficiency in Word and Excel<\/li>\n<li>Some Finance or Accounting experience, or coursework required<\/li>\n<li>A quick learner who is detail-oriented and very organized will succeed best in this role.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><strong>Time Frame:<\/strong> \u00a0Winter \u2013 Spring 2017 &#8211; beginning January 2017<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><strong>Days per week<\/strong>: 3 days per week, preferably Tuesday, <span class=\"aBn\"><span class=\"aQJ\">Wednesday<\/span><\/span>, and <span class=\"aBn\"><span class=\"aQJ\">Thursday<\/span><\/span>, from <span class=\"aBn\"><span class=\"aQJ\">10 am to 3:00 pm<\/span><\/span>, days and hours negotiable<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><strong>Salary:<\/strong> This is an unpaid internship. *<br class=\"m_7836873581434308482gmail-kix-line-break\" \/>*Japan Society encourages school credits if available.<br class=\"m_7836873581434308482gmail-kix-line-break\" \/>*Occasional complimentary tickets available to performances<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><strong>Application Process: <\/strong>Please\u00a0email a letter of interest and resume to\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:jobs@japansociety.org\" target=\"_blank\">jobs@japansociety.org<\/a>.
