Primary Duties & Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

    \n
  • Providing assistance to Japanese nationals who are in trouble and need consular assistance<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Conducting tasks related to security<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Gathering information on issues related to the Consular\/ Security Section<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Assist with visa service<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Assist with Japanese passport service<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Assist with Japanese citizenship service (birth, marriage, divorce, nationality, etc.)<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Assist with Japanese election service<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Assist other sections of the Consulate as required<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Other consular duties and assisting the diplomats with day-to-day work.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Required Qualifications:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

      \n
    • US Citizen or US permanent residency holders<\/span><\/li>\n
    • English Language Fluency is required and Japanese Language Fluency is preferable.<\/span><\/li>\n
    • Strong organizational, administrative, and communication skills<\/span><\/li>\n
    • Ability to work autonomously or as part of a team<\/span><\/li>\n
    • Must be proficient in computer skills such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Internet, and Emails.<\/span><\/li>\n
    • Must be able to take business trips and work overtime.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
