Nippon Television is one of the largest commercial broadcasters in Japan.\u00a0The Washington DC News Bureau is responsible for covering political affairs in the United States for our Japanese audience.<\/span><\/p>\n

As a producer, you will be responsible for monitoring and summarizing political news and information from Washington and beyond. This would include attending press briefings, monitoring daily news sources, researching various news media for interesting stories, setting up interviews, and in-house recording. You would assist reporters in creating daily news stories and long term feature stories which are sent to Tokyo for national broadcast.<\/span><\/p>\n

The ideal candidate would be conversational in Japanese, have good organizational skills, and have strong knowledge of political and international affairs.<\/span><\/p>\n
